B Anish
Who I am

Engineer turned product thinker

I'm a recent IT graduate from Hyderabad who spent a year at RealPage co-owning PMOrbit — a production project management platform built from 0 to 1 for PMO leads and executive leadership. I ran user interviews, managed the roadmap, defined requirements, and shipped features that reduced handoff friction by 40%.

My background is full-stack — React, TypeScript, .NET Core, SQL — which means I can sit in a system design conversation and a user interview in the same day and add value in both. I don't need things explained twice.

I'm currently looking for APM or PM roles where I can own a product area end to end. If you're building something real and need someone who moves fast, thinks in user problems, and writes specs developers can build from — let's talk.

Outside of work, I follow cricket more closely than I should and have opinions about Hyderabad biryani that most people disagree with.

Tools I work in

React · TypeScript · .NET Core · SQL · Python · Figma

How I think
01

Ships change minds. Specs don't.

I've seen brilliant PRDs kill momentum. At RealPage I learned to get features in front of users fast — even rough ones — because a working thing in someone's hands tells you more than six rounds of internal alignment ever will.

02

If the dev is confused, the spec is wrong.

Requirements exist to make building obvious. I rewrite until the first question from engineering is "when do you need this?" not "what does this mean?" That's the only measure of a good spec.

03

Talk to users before you have a solution.

50+ user interviews at RealPage. The most useful ones had zero assumptions going in. Most PMs use interviews to validate — I use them to understand. The difference shows in what actually gets built.

Case StudyProduction

PMOrbit

Built a production project management platform from 0 to 1 for PMO leads and executive leadership at RealPage.

The Problem

Fragmented project data across Jira, Asana, and Monday.com created silos, manual reporting overhead, and no single source of truth for executive leadership.

Business Outcome

Reduced handoff friction by 40%, restored 100% notification reliability, and reduced executive dashboard load times from 30s to 800ms.

Asana & Trello

A PM metrics deep-dive into Asana and Trello — north star definition, supporting hierarchy, rejection rationale, and guardrails for two divergent takes on collaborative work management.

Problem

PMs often struggle to define clear north star metrics and supporting hierarchies for divergent collaborative work management platforms, leading to misaligned product guardrails.

Outcome

Provided actionable guardrails for product teams to align on north star metrics and prevent feature bloat.

LinkedIn for Freshers

A product enhancement proposal for LinkedIn — reducing the job-search friction freshers face when no explicit 0-experience filter exists and every posting requires manual inspection.

Problem
